Temporary Server Shutdown and Website Unavailable (August 4 evening – August 5 JST)


In an effort to serve you better, the SPring-8/SACLA will be undergoing a scheduled power outage for maintenance during the following period:

From August 4, 4:30 pm to August 5, 10:00 pm, 2023 JST (UTC+9).

The User Information Website will be unavailable to users during this period.
There is a possibility that it will be behind schedule, depending on the work situation.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

Proposal Application, etc.

“Proposal Application”, “Notification of Completion of Beamtime”, “Experiment Summary Report” and “User Information Mypage Login” will be also unavailable during the maintenance.
Please save the application being created before the maintenance.

Radiation Control Office Reception Desk of RIKEN Harima Safety Center at North Building

The Office will be closed from August 5 (Sat) (all day)
*Extension of temporary closing will be occurred up to August 6 (Sun) according to work delay of the inspection.

Others

[The entrance card reader system]
The entrance card reader system will be shut down (exclude some doors that for examination) during the following period:
August 5
( – August 6, if the power outage will be rescheduled on August 6)

[Radiation Controlled Area]
Almost doors to the radiation controlled area will be closed during the following period:
August 5, from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm.
( – August 6, if the power outage will be rescheduled on August 6)

[OA Network]
OA network will not be available due to the scheduled power outage.
Downtime: August 5, 5:00 am – August 5, 9:00 pm

*If instrument failure occur after the power outage, the network down might continue until following Monday.

[Guest House]
Electricity will be cut August 5, from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Please note the following points if you stay in the Guest House during the period.

*In case of unfavorable weather such as a typhoon, it will be conducted on August 6 instead.

1. Electrical equipment (Air conditioner, refrigerator) in the guest rooms is not available.
2. Elevators are not available in all the Guest House buildings.
3. Automatic casher and credit cards are not available.

[Gym]
Due to a scheduled power outrage, available hours of gymnasium will be changed as follows:
Date: August 5
Gymnasium is not available all day for the safety reasons.

*In case of unfavorable weather such as a typhoon, we will conduct it on Sunday, August 6 instead.

[Cafeteria and Convenience Store]
Following period is not available.
Cafeteria: From August 5 to August 6 (all day)
Convenience Store: From August 5 to August 6 (all day)
ATM: From August 4, 2:00 pm to August 7, 12:00 pm
