Dear All Users visiting SPring-8/SACLA for Experiments,

The Japanese government has declared the state of emergency in Tokyo, three neighboring prefectures (Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa), Kansai and other region (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Aichi, Gifu, Fukuoka and Tochigi) to contain the spread of the COVID-19.

Visitors from these areas to SPring-8/SACLA are not restricted at the moment. We kindly ask you to make your decision after considering your affiliationʼs policy and measures. If you decide to cancel your beamtime, please contact SPring-8/SACLA Users Office at least one day before your designated beamtime. There will be no cancellation charge.

For visitors from foreign organizations, it is subject to the entry restrictions of the Japanese government.
Currently, new entry from overseas into Japan is suspended.
