Currently, The experimental data transfer service [URL : https://filetransfer.spring8.or.jp/ ] can be available by the single-factor authentication using your SPring-8 ID (7 digits )and password. However, we are scheduled to add an two-factor authentication to enhance security in the Experimental Data Transfer Service.
Hence, the Experimental Data Transfer Service will be unavailable during the following time, because of the maintenance work for switching to the the Experimental Data Transfer Service with the two-factor authentication.
The maintenance time (when the service is unavailable.): All day (scheduled ) on September 24, 2020.
After the maintenance time, thus, after the service is resumed, the authentication of this service will require another authentication by using E-mail in addition to the authentication using your your SPring-8 ID and password. Please follow the instruction written in the sent E-mail. Please note that the E-mail will be sent to the E-mail address registered at the web page of “SPring-8 User Information”
NOTICE
• The authentication by using E-mail is except for specific access form SPirng-8.
• Files uploaded within one week can be download except for the above-mentioned maintenance time even after the maintenance.
• In the maintenance time, not only files-uploading function but also files-downloading function, in this service, will be unavailable.
• This service will not be changed except for the two-factor authentication.
